I\'ve experienced a lot of different areas of tax within a somewhat limited amount of time. Two years at PwC adapted me to the mindset, level of dedication, readiness and the team-based mentality that being in the tax industry requires. It also allowed me to realize my interest in learning innovative new systems that can enhance the way we work such as Alteryx & Tableau. A year of multiple consulting contracts working through Robert Half taught me to be adaptable within work environments one might not find optimal, to make the most of those, and to - while I was there - do my best to make a positive difference. The interest in innovating and yielding productivity was perpetuated by a role I had during this, wherein I created an automated commissions system for a company which had over 150 commission receiving employees.My longest lasting and best experience so far has been at Leyton, where I\'ve had the chance, within the U.S. office, to be amongst the first 15 people hired, and about four years later, to have witnessed and been an integral part of its growth to over 400 employees. From gaining legitimate expertise in completely new (to me) areas of the tax code, to being the top billing Consultant within the company for three straight years, to obtaining and continuing my first ever management opportunity, my employment has been extremely rewarding and has solidified my belief that I am in the right industry for me.If you\'ve taken this much interest in me, thanks for reading!
