Devin Del Palacio is a strategist, executive leader, and trusted advisor with extensive experience in public education, government affairs, governance, and public speaking. He works with boards, executives, and mission-driven organizations to navigate complex policy environments, strengthen leadership, and turn vision into measurable outcomes.Devin currently serves as CEO and Executive Director of Copper State Education Alliance, where he leads governance training, policy support, leadership development, and strategic advisory services for school districts and education leaders across Arizona. His work centers on board effectiveness, student-outcomes-focused governance, and aligning leadership practices with community trust and accountability.Previously, Devin served as a member of the Arizona State House of Representatives through 2023, where he worked on legislation impacting education funding, public accountability, and community development. At the national level, he served as Chairman of the National Black Council of School Board Members and as a board member of the National School Boards Association, contributing to national conversations on governance, equity, and leadership development.At the local level, Devin made history as the first African American elected to the Tolleson Union High School District Governing Board in the district’s 100-year history, later serving as Board President and Vice President. His governance experience includes superintendent evaluation, budget oversight, strategic planning, and community engagement during periods of growth and change.In addition to executive leadership and consulting, Devin is an accomplished public speaker and facilitator.
