About Devin Chen
Hello, my name is Devin Chen and I am currently a sophomore student in Fordham’s Gabelli School of Business and majoring in finance. I am a first generation Asian-American student who is trying to break into the investment banking world. What truly inspires me and motivates me is having the ability to help others gain money and plan for their financial freedom. Finance is an industry in which people can grow whilst also making a difference in society. Currently, I am apart of the Investment Banking Society at Fordham Lincoln Center which has helped me gain skills in research and analysis whilst also giving me an insight on how businesses function. In addition, I have also been working in real estate as an assistant for close to three years now. This has led me to getting my real estate license. Furthermore, I\'ve been working at Focus Marketing which allowed me to develop my communication, marketing, and teamwork skills. When I graduate in 2026, I hope to be employed in a fulfilling career in investment banking. However, right now, I am more interested in getting an internship.
