Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a trusted subject matter expert in treasury and liquidity, with a specific focus on the GIC & Loans portfolio. Leverage your deep understanding of market trends, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices to inform strategic decision-making- Portfolio Management: Oversee and manage the GIC & Loan product portfolio, developing and implementing strategies to maximize profitability, liquidity, and competitiveness. Monitor and analyze performance metrics, making data-driven recommendations to improve portfolio performance- Financial Analysis: Conduct regular financial analyses of the GIC portfolio, including revenue collection, cost management, and profitability assessments. Identify opportunities for growth and efficiency improvements- Market Research: Continuously research and analyze market activities, competitor offerings, and emerging trends in the treasury and liquidity space, ensuring that our GIC & Loan portfolio remains at the forefront of the industry- Product Development: Collaborate with the Director and cross-functional teams to drive product development initiatives. Develop and present comprehensive business cases, outlining the impact and feasibility of proposed enhancements and new products- Risk Management: Work closely with risk and compliance teams to ensure my portfolios adheres to all regulatory guidelines and internal risk management policies- Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including finance, marketing, and sales teams, to ensure alignment and support for GIC & Loan product initiatives.
