ABOUT DEVIKA BADAGANDI

Devika has completed her LLM (Commercial Law) from the University of Cambridge 25\', namely in the modules of - Corporate Finance Law, Corporate Governance, Corporate Insolvency Law and International Financial Law. Devika has been elected as the Academic Law (Postgraduate) LLM Representative, for the Cambridge Student Union, at the University of Cambridge and received a nomination for the Cambridge Academic Representative of the Year Award. Devika has also represented University of Cambridge at the Herbert Smith Freehills - Inter-University Commercial Negotiation Competition (UK) 2024.To give a brief background of her work profile, she has been a dedicated corporate lawyer with around 5 years of experience in the legal industry. Devika specialises in plethora of complex commercial landscapes primarily involving mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital and seed funding, compliance and governance, legal due diligence across dynamic sectors, banking, structured debt and fintech. Her experience has not only involved navigating business complexities with start-ups, but also in assisting established corporations across various sectors to achieve targets and streamlined decision making.In India, she has been actively involved in volunteering activities particularly organisations working with children suffering from cerebral palsy and other physical and mental disabilities. She has also been associated in fund raising for children with autism and learning difficulties.
