About Harry Pierson
I\'ve been interested in computers since my father brought home a VT100 terminal & a 300 baud tele-coupled modem from his office at Bell Labs. Now, I\'m a software architect and engineer with 30+ years of experience in the IT industry. I\'m also an accomplished presenter - I\'m as comfortable on stage in front of millions of developers or at my desk writing code.I spent 20 years at Microsoft in a variety of roles, both in the field and at corporate. My specialty there was always developer focused. From my start as an app dev consultant through my years helping pioneer technical evangelism at MSFT, I\'ve always been comfortable directly interacting with developers and other technical customers. Later, I moved to the product groups where I continued my focus on developers, with Microsoft\'s Developer Division as well as the Developer Experience team in Windows.After leaving MSFT, I spent four years building a set of blockchain-industry leading developer tools for the Neo N3 blockchain, including test frameworks, code coverage tools, compilers, and debuggers.Currently, I work on the DBOS project: https://dbos.dev
