Supplier Sourcing, Supplier Assessment & Onboarding • Component Developmet through APQP • Oversaw Part Development & Managing Quality for US Aftermarket Automotive parts.• Experience with Retail packaging Development• New vendor assessment and re-qualification - Supplier Qualification Review (ISO 9001/14001, IATF 16949, workplace conditions, supply chain Country of Origin security audit etc.). • Development stage PPAP documents review.(drawing, reports, material certificate, RoHS, REACH reports.)- Perform FAI and create product test plan- Experience on measuring instruments, caliper, CMM, digital meter, Spectro, hardness tester, thickness gauge, salt spray machine, burst tester, and so on-Support product development and reverse engineering functions.• Proceed ECR/ RCN process - Continual supplier monitoring to ensure passing status of new saleable product.• Problem-solving skills - Support HQ initiated CAPA to contain, determine root cause, and implement corrective actions at Supplier End- Continuous supplier weakness identification and implementation of improvement plan- Elimination of repeat of product issues at same and other suppliers through Drill Deep & Wide investigations.Quality control activities- Maintain/Develop the incoming material data system for both external (Supplier) and Internal (Dorman Receiving Inspection)- Participate in cross-functional teams (Taiwan, U.S, Shanghai, Thailand)- Business trip for onsite inspection and audit.• Warranty reduction experience
