Senior engineering leader with more than two decades of proven track record in engineering research, product design, simulation, program management and people leadership. Currently leading NPI Engineering organisation in retail electric power division at Caterpillar. Prior to Caterpillar, led a life cycle engineering organization for fielded aircraft engines at GE Aviation after handling sub section manager roles for different modules (Mechanical Systems, Engine Externals, High Pressure Compressor and Hot structures) across different engine lines like LEAP, P20 and sustaining engines. Before joining GE, served in Indian Space Research Organization (Govt of India) as a Rocket Scientist. Have diversified work experience in the field of Rotors, Structures, Airfoils, Rotordynamics and High-speed ball bearings (One of three team members who designed, developed and qualified high speed ball bearings for launch vehicle turbopump under cryogenic conditions used in GSLV Launch Vehicle). Proven track record in leading teams towards diversified business metrics (safety, delivery, performance, durability, cost out and profitability) in highly matrixed organizations.
