Apart from his interest in Data Science and Data Analytics, Devesh is also inclined towards research and enthusiastic about environmental engineering, water resources engineering and transportation engineering. Devesh ha s been working on various research projects in the domain of hydrological modelling using GIS and SWAT, analysis of land use, land cover change and detection of flood. He has been reading and working primitively on the detection and regulations of emerging contaminants in drinking and waste water. His techinical areas of interest include statistical modelling and analysis, data analysis and visualisation, Data Mining, Databases and SQL.
