About Devesh Balkote
I have completed my CFA Level 2 and progressing towards the next level. For the applicative side of things, I completed my FMVA(Financial Modelling & Valuation Analyst) Certification from CFI. Living in India I would have required NISM certifications to work in the asset management industry. Therefore I also completed the research analyst and equity derivative certification from NISM. I have also done diploma in event management from NAEMD.I have an interest in the financial markets. Besides my daily routine of studying for competitive exams and college, I try to keep up developments in financial markets. Health and fitness are also a big part of my life,I go to cycling regularly, and honestly working out and eating well helps me focus better on tasks that need brainstorming. My interests besides Finance include reading books, listening to podcasts. I aspire to join the asset management industry as a portfolio manager or a research analyst to start with. I would also be interested in working in the IB industry and getting experience in Advisory deals and so on.
