Manages all aspects of a diverse IT project or multiple IT projects, typically involving multiple disciplines in the IT function. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Obtaining authorizations, familiarizing vendors with processes and establishing vendor responsibilities. Maintaining productive and cordial relationships with vendors, encouraging two-way communication and acting as an intermediary when necessary, ensuring quality control and guarding proprietary information. Recording and managing invoices and making vendor payments. Monitoring vendor services and goods to ensure that they meet the standards of contractual agreements.
