About Deven Perez
Senior mechanical engineering student at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi. Passionate about rocketry and propulsion systems with interests in fluid mechanics and mechanical testing. I have 9 months of hands-on research experience, contributing to the design and implementation of a fluids and mechanical testing system that provided insights into biofilm behavior. Currently, I’m gaining hands-on experience as a mechanical engineering intern at the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, where I play a pivotal role in optimizing HVAC systems, contributing to the efficiency and reliability of critical rotary aircraft infrastructure. Outside of engineering, my creative side thrives. I spend my free time experimenting with my 3D printer, creating designs for household applications. Rocketry and space-flight are additional areas of interest outside of my academic pursuits. When engineering isn\'t consuming my attention, I enjoy traveling and documenting the planet’s beauty through my lens.
