As a Trainee Technical Recruiter in the US Staffing industry, I am responsible for executing the end-to-end recruitment process for IT and technical roles in the U.S. market. My role involves sourcing, screening, and coordinating with candidates, while understanding client requirements and building a strong talent pipeline.Key Responsibilities:• Sourcing candidates through job boards (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder), LinkedIn, internal databases, and referrals.• Screening resumes and conducting initial phone interviews to assess technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.• Coordinating interviews and maintaining communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.• Understanding U.S. tax terms (W2, 1099, C2C), visa classifications (H1B, GC, USC, etc.), and compliance requirements.• Collaborating with senior recruiters and account managers to meet client hiring needs.• Maintaining ATS and daily activity reports with accuracy and consistency.• Continuously learning recruitment best practices and U.S. labour market trends.
