Kinetic Modeling of CO2 Methanation Over Ni/Al2O3 and Ni-Fe/Al2O3 Aimed towards finding the reasons for enhanced catalytic behaviour of 15 wt.% 75Ni25Fe/Al2O3 over themonometallic 15 wt.% Ni/Al2O3 Prepared mono bimetallic supported alumina catalysts using incipient wetness impregnation method & performed characterization using different techniques like BET, XRD, UV, Raman and TPR Proposed a suitable kinetic model to explain the kinetic differences between the Ni/Al2O3 and 75Ni25Fe/Al2O3catalysts and calculated kinetic parameters by non-linear regression Determined promotional effect of Fe on the Ni/Al2O3 catalyst decreases the activation energy Detected Ni3Fe (L12 ordered structure) alloy for 15 wt.% 75Ni25Fe/Al2O3 catalyst
