Created Mainframe modules, and reporting structures using COBOL, JCL, Easytrieve, DB2, ISPF, TSO, FileAID, Xpeditor, Changeman, and Infoman as part of a five-member development team.• Developed programming logic for mass data extraction, evaluation and validation of data from Tables, VSAM Files, and Flat Files, based on the new business rules and system design.• Designed/Coded On-line and Batch program modules using COBOL.• Supported the migration of modules into the production environment using the Changeman tool by packaging the modules and implementing the package to enter the production region.• Ran JCL job streams with COBOL programs to test client data, reporting results to management and clients, troubleshooting the error messages and analyzing incorrect and misleading error messages to produce correct recommendations.
