Devender Khari is a senior technologist and software architect with nearly three decades of experience in Electronic Design Automation (EDA), complex software systems, and industry standards collaboration.He currently works as a Software Architect at Cadence Design Systems, contributing to the architecture and evolution of solutions supporting system design and PCB design infrastructure. Over the course of his career, Devender has worked across the semiconductor development spectrum - from specification-driven design to system and SoC-level product realization - helping engineering teams build scalable, high-quality software platforms used in complex semiconductor design flows.Beyond product development, Devender has actively contributed to industry collaboration through his work with Accellera Systems Initiative, where engineers from leading semiconductor and EDA companies work together to define standards that benefit the broader ecosystem.Within the CDC/RDC working group, Devender led the subgroup responsible for defining the CDC/RDC interoperability format, contributing to the CDC/RDC Standard 1.0 released at DVCON US 2026. He has also been an active contributor to the IP-XACT working group, where he authored portions of the user guide and led a training initiative designed to accelerate industry adoption of the standard. The training material developed through this effort was delivered as part of DVCON US 2026 training programs.Earlier in his career, Devender served as Engineering Director at Agnisys Technology (2019–2025), where he led R&D teams and contributed to product architecture, technical strategy, and customer engagement while remaining deeply involved in hands-on engineering and product development.Devender also founded DKOP Labs (2007–2019), an initiative focused on technology training and employability in electronics.
