Performing daily collateral exchange for OTC Derivatives, Initial Margin and REPO desk ensuring that the credit risk exposure is covered with eligible collateral. Reconciling portfolio level exposure and flagging any differences over 15M CAD to the relevant team prior to processing the margin call for that respective counterparty. Manually adjusting the MTM exposure for pending cashflows if any. Monitoring settlements, setting up wires and liaising with custodian / counterparties to ensure timely settlement of cash and security movements. Reviewing CSA in case of any collateral eligibility issues and accurately recording CSA amendments / SSI changes in the collateral system. Ensuring newly onboarded CSAs and SSIs are accurately setup in the system for IM & VM. Weekly reconciliation of IM collateral holdings between the segregated accounts, counterparties and collateral system and resolving breaks if any. Monthly reconciliation and settlement of collateral interest / dividends within the stipulated timeline. Creating short and long term cash forecasts in support of the risk and trading team. Managing the daily cash ledger across entities and in support of the trading desk and ensuring all bank accounts are funded at EOD to cover the cash movements. Mentoring new joiners and improving team productivity through knowledge sharing.
