About Dev C.

I have been lucky to spend my life around entrepreneurs. I started as a Founder and now mostly work alongside Founders supporting them.In 1997, when I was a student at Lehigh, I started a small web development and hosting company called INetU. Over the next two decades, with a lot of help from a team that I\'m still grateful for, it grew into an enterprise managed cloud platform that served customers like BMW, Sony Music, Pokémon, the USGA and the United Nations. We cared deeply about taking care of our employees and customers, and somehow that carried us further than I ever imagined. In December of 2015, the company was acquired by ViaWest.Since then, I\'ve been spending my time supporting other founders. I do a bit of angel investing and advising through XIP. I\'m also a member of the HBS Alumni Angels of New York and always happy to introduce a founder to them when it\'s a good fit.I sit on several startup boards and serve on the Operating Advisory Board at BV Investment Partners, a firm I was fortunate to work with. I\'m always happy to help founders looking for a private equity partner and to support them in taking the next step in their business evolution.Outside of work, the causes I care deeply about are education, teaching entrepreneurship and the environment. I volunteer with HBS Community Partners of New York and the SBPI, where we lend a hand to nonprofits and small businesses. I\'m extremely grateful when professors invite me as a guest lecturer on entrepreneurship and leadership, and I love engaging the next generation of founders and entrepreneurs while they are still in the classroom.
