At Zeiss, I work as a UI/UX Designer in a Customer Journey team, focusing on crafting user-centered solutions that enhance the overall experience. My key contributions include:Illustration Library for Beyond Design System: In collaboration with a talented team, I played a major role in creating a versatile and accessible illustration library. We prioritized understanding user needs and inclusivity, ensuring the library serves a diverse global audience. This resource empowers designers to create custom compositions using modular elements, promoting consistency across projects while allowing for creative flexibility. By embedding accessibility into every aspect of the design, I ensured the library meets the needs of all users, significantly improving platform usability.Design Standardization: I contributed to the creation of templates, patterns and guidelines to standardize design components within the Beyond system. Working closely with cross-functional teams, we ensured the standards reflect user needs, streamlining workflows for a cohesive, intuitive experience across platforms. By providing clear, reusable resources, we improved design efficiency and user satisfaction, making the design process more consistent and scalable.Redesign of QR Code Platform & Job Search Feature: I led the redesign of these critical features, significantly improving usability and enhancing the user journey. The redesigns resulted in improved navigation, higher user engagement and increased retention. By addressing key pain points, my redesigns led to a more satisfying and seamless user experience, encouraging users to spend more time on the platform.Through these efforts, I’ve contributed to creating more accessible and engaging experiences for ZEISS users while improving design consistency and user engagement across multiple platforms.
