About Devasmit Dutta
Experienced in modeling and simulation with proficiency in structural analysis, design and detailing, geometric design and tolerance analysis, computer aided engineering, and computational modeling. My research interest involves solving partial differential equations using numerical methods. I have also worked on open-source high-level finite element method libraries like Fenics, Ferrite.jl, DiffEq.jl, NeuralPDE.jl and Gridap.jl, in solving both linear and non-linear PDE systems. Besides, I do like to work on Scientific Machine Learning and Physics Informed Neural-Networks (PINNs) in developing surrogate models, for solving coupled-interaction and physics informed systems in the domains of computational mechanics, dynamical systems in structural vibration and health monitoring and mechanics of solids. Besides, I have also experience in applying Lean Six-Sigma methodologies using statistical software like Minitab, for optimising Design of Experiments (DoE).
