TDS Lithium-Ion Battery Gujarat Private Limited (TDSG) TDSG is India’s First Lithium-ion Battery manufacturer for hybrid vehicles with Cell Level localization. TDSG is a joint venture between TOSHIBA Corporation, DENSO Corporation and Suzuki Motor Corporation, set up in the progressive soil of Gujarat aligned with government’s “Make in India” vision. Our Manufacturing operations are derived by Suzuki’s expertise with contribution of Toshiba’s Cell Technology and Denso’s Module Technology with a vision and commitment from 3 of the biggest names in automotive industry to power the India’s journey to hybrid and electric vehicles. The foundation stone for our “state of art TDSG plant spread over 74,124 m2”, was laid by the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi along with Honorable Prime Minister of Japan, Shri Shinzo Abe on 14th Sep 2017. Led by Engineers extensively trained in Japan, At TDSG we manufacture highly safe rechargeable battery with outstanding characteristics like more than charge-discharge cycles, fast charging and prevention of thermal runaway which makes them to perform even in extreme conditions.
