ABOUT DEVARSHI RAY

With over 16 years of work experience in corporate finance and investment banking, I am a seasoned and passionate professional who strives to deliver value-added solutions to clients across various industries. As a Partner at EY, I lead the Strategy and Transactions practice in Ireland, focusing on private equity and corporates within the funds, technology, SaaS, and professional services/consultancy sectors. I am also a Disbursement Committee Member for basis.point (an educational charity), overseeing the allocation of funds to eligible projects and initiatives. I am motivated by the opportunity to help clients achieve their strategic goals, create positive social impact, and foster a culture of innovation and collaboration within EY and beyond. I am a FCA of ICAEW, and hold a BSc Hons in Economics and Econometrics from the University of Nottingham.In my current role as a Partner at EY, I am responsible for business development, client relationship management, deal origination, execution, and delivery, as well as team leadership and mentoring. I have successfully advised and supported clients on a range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, capital raising, debt restructuring, and IPOs. I leverage my expertise in corporate finance, investment banking, and capital markets, as well as my deep knowledge of the funds, technology, SaaS, and professional services industries, to provide tailored and comprehensive solutions that meet the client\'s needs and expectations. I also actively contribute to the firm\'s thought leadership, market insights, and industry events, sharing my perspectives and best practices on the latest trends and developments in the sector.
