About Devapriya Pradeep Lakshmanan
As a passionate GIS and Remote Sensing professional, I have a strong academic background and hands-on experience in satellite data analysis, spatial modeling, and mapping. I hold a Master’s degree in Remote Sensing and GIS and currently work as a Junior Research Fellow at the Rubber Research Institute of India, where I use geospatial tools to study environmental impacts. During my internship at Space Applications Centre – ISRO, I gained practical experience in SAR-based change detection, coherence analysis, and disaster mapping using satellite data. My key skills include- GIS mapping and spatial analysis - Radar and optical remote sensing - SAR coherence change detection - Google Earth Engine applications - Terrain analysis and DEM processing - Land use/land cover mapping - Climate impact and sustainable land use studies I’m passionate about using geospatial technology to support environmental research, disaster monitoring, and land resource planning. I\'m open to new opportunities globally and willing to relocate, including to the UAE.
