About Devan Trammel
On a journey to show you can not take things too seriously do well.Enlisting in the military at eighteen gave me the professional and personal skills I needed to dig myself and my family out of poverty, allowed me to see parts of the world that make life in America look like the Truman Show, and enabled me to embrace my passion for life-long learning (see: finishing undergrad at 29). I’m a Girl Dad fluent in princess diplomacy and glitter-based economic sanctions, and a photographer who’s mastered lighting, composition, and the art of bribery for 2.5 seconds of eye contact.As a first-generation, low-income college graduate who took the lifespan of a Chinchilla worth of night school to graduate (it’s 10 years), I aim to pay it forward and use my platform and resources to help others who might be struggling to get ahead. I received my MBA from Stanford in what I am adamant was a clerical error, made lifelong friends and mentors, and now officially know many more acronyms.
