As an intern in the Oncology Department, I actively participate in clinical rounds across wards and ICUs, reviewing patient files and understanding case histories, diagnoses, and treatment protocols. I closely observe a variety of cancers and their progression, gaining exposure to chemotherapy administration, drug regimens, biopsy procedures, and multidisciplinary treatment approaches. I study discharge summaries, monitor prognosis patterns, and understand how individualized care is planned. This experience has deepened my knowledge of cancer biology, clinical decision-making, and the real-world application of biotechnology in oncology.
