I am an Applied Scientist with AWS Chime audio science team. I previously completed my Masters in Computer Science, with a specialization in Machine Learning from University of Illinois, Urbana Champaign. I graduated with a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. I am broadly interested in Machine Learning and Systems. My research interests are in Large Language Models, Generative-AI, Natural Language Processing, Federated Learning, Secure Machine Learning, Computer Vision. I\'m actively looking for full-time roles as a Machine Learning Engineer/ Machine Learning Researcher.

I have worked on leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) for Real-time text summarization for call recording transcripts. We developed metrics for information completeness and correctness to evaluate quality of generated summaries
