Designed and Setup new VxRail HCI Environment with multiple clusters to migrate/upgrade various workloads (Application Servers, Web Servers, Oracle Databases, various 3rd party applications) including P2Vs - Planned, Designed, Implemented and Upgraded infrastructure for various critical Oracle Database clusters to provide a robust and stable Oracle environment. Also migrated Oracle DB environment to Oracle Linux that greatly reduced the server build time. Upgraded and Migrated all Oracle clusters multiple times - Ensuring data backup and protection using various centralized backup tools like EMC Networker, Data Domain, Veritas Netbackup - Oracle data migration multiple times without any outage as back end storage migrated to newer technology - Maintains Hardware and Software support and subscriptions - Planned and built ESX VMware environment - Have been involved with implementation, migration and upgrades of almost all in-house and 3rd party applications in the environment - Created many scripts to automate monitoring and alerting for various critical systems - Mentored and Trained new onshore and offshore staff in the Team - Built and developed stable off-hours offshore support - Capacity planning & IT Infrastructure setup for many big high profile projects - Maintain Vendor relationships - Responsible for reviewing, maintaining and renewing hardware and software licenses/subscriptions every year
