ABOUT DEVAGOPAL ANIL SREENIVAS MAYA

PhD student at the Kahlert School of Computing at the University of Utah||I graduated with a B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence from AMRITA VISHWA VIDYAPEETHAM with first class and distinction.I have applied my skills in various real-world settings, including a 14 month tenure at A.P. Moller - Maersk, where I optimized logistics and operations for the world’s largest shipping company. Prior to that, I completed a four-month internship at Aiotize, developing AI-powered solutions for IoT devices. Additionally, I gained valuable research experience as an intern at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, collaborating on cutting-edge AI projects.My research contributions include co-authoring two publications in reputed journals: one on the use of wearable and IoT technologies for COVID-19 monitoring, and another on the design of a low-cost water quality sensor using machine learning.Throughout my academic journey, I have maintained a strong record, receiving multiple awards for my research contributions and overall performance. I have also completed several certifications in cloud-based machine learning, data science with Python, and sixth sense robotics.Driven by a passion for applying AI to solve real-world problems, I aspire to be a leader and innovator in this field, contributing to the advancement of science and technology for positive social impact.My hobbies includes making cover songs by mixing carnatic music with pop or latin pop and would spend hours reading about nutrition and fitness. Being an ex professional cricketer would love to play outdoors at times
