I am an experienced computational linguist with a strong background in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML) models. With over 5 years of experience in the field, I have worked on a variety of projects ranging from building information extraction systems for insurance domains to improving proprietary NLP tools for Indian languages. My expertise in developing linguistic rules, ML, and deep learning models has helped me build intelligent and robust text analysis systems.Currently working as an AI/ML Developer at Bourntec Solutions Pvt Ltd in Kochi, India, I specialize in NLP and ML, building information extraction systems for insurance domains.In addition to my technical skills, I also possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, allowing me to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. My educational and professional background includes an MPhil in Computational Linguistics from Hyderabad, where I developed an automatic non-recursive phrase identification system for Malayalam using linguistic and statistical methods.I have also been published in several academic publications, including Proceedings of the 6th Workshop on South and Southeast Asian Natural Language Processing and Proceedings of the 54th Annual Meeting of the Association for Computational Linguistics Student Research Workshop. Additionally, I am proficient in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, and C++ and am comfortable with tools such as Scikit Learn, SpaCy, Pandas, NLTK, Gensim, and Keras. With a passion for language and technology, I am always seeking new challenges and opportunities to expand my skill set and make a positive impact in the field of computational linguistics.
