ABOUT DEV PATEL

As a Master of Electrical and Computer Engineering and a Bachelor of Computer Engineering graduate, I have extensive experience in various programming languages, frameworks, and tools. My expertise includes Python, Java, SQL, C, C++, C#.Net, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, MyBatis, NumPy, Scikit-Learn, Pandas, Matplotlib, JQuery, NodeJS, ReactJS, AngularJS, Git, Django (Basic), Unix/Linux, Visual Studio, SQL Workbench, Jupyter Notebook, NetBeans, Tableau, and GitHub. In my role as a Junior Software Developer at Vemun Business Solutions, I handled back-end components of software applications and participated in approximately 15-20 project teams per year. I designed and developed client projects and led one project team of back-end developers. I also provided front-end support for various projects using my understanding of AngularJS, ReactJS, and REST APIs. My database skills improved as I worked with relational databases like MySQL, Oracle server, PostgreSQL, and Microsoft MySQL server, as well as Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and MyBatis for database functionalities. I possess a thorough knowledge of every phase of the software development life cycle, from project conception to application deployment, and I have prior experience using the agile and sprint technique. As a Software Developer Intern at Vemun Business Solutions, I worked on five large software projects, utilising Python, Java, MySQL, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, AngularJS, and ReactJS. I analysed requirements to identify and create test scenarios in integration testing, reported any errors or problems, and collaborated with developers to ensure all needs for product integration were met. I also coded algorithms and functions to assist with development activities and trained for all responsibilities of junior software developer individually and as part of a team. As a Software Engineer Intern at Silverwing Technology Pvt Ltd, I collaborated with the enterprise unit and worked on the back-end development of an E-commerce web application using Java and Python. I also designed an eCommerce web application in Java/Spring, including content migrations and upgrades, and followed coding best practices related to site performance, accessibility, testing, debugging, and User Experience. Additionally, I was involved in the development of an innovative product recommendation system with a collaborative filtering algorithm. With my experience and skills, I am confident in my ability to contribute to software development projects and deliver results.
