ABOUT DEV PANDYA
I am an Electrical Engineer in Training (EIT) deeply guided by the principles of Consistency, Courage, Patience, and Determination. I hold a Master’s degree in Electrical and Software Engineering from the University of Calgary, with a focus on power systems and renewable energy, and proficiency in technical software like ETAP, PSCAD, and MATLAB. My approach to work is driven by a strong set of personal values that influence both my professional projects and my commitment to environmental sustainability.I have conducted various power system studies—from EMT Model Quality Tests to transient stability, harmonic, and short-circuit analyses—across Wind, Solar, BESS, and Industrial cogeneration projects. I have two years of experience in India in designing electrical systems for over 15 wastewater treatment plants, demonstrating my ability to manage projects successfully. My significant academic projects include a capstone on creating a zero-energy electrical system and software-based simulations aimed at improving the stability of power grids with advanced battery storage solutions for sustainable energy solutions.
