ABOUT DESTIN LEGARIE

Reading happy comments is easily the biggest reward. It means you struck a nerve with your viewer and that you\'ve made them laugh, think, or maybe just crack a smile. Hi, I\'m Destin Legarie and currently I\'m a Senior Features Producer at IGN. I get to create videos our fans love every single day and I\'ve been lucky enough to work on major sponsored projects from companies like Ubisoft, Capcom, or Electronic Arts and had the pleasure of sharing those projects with millions of happy viewers.I\'ve worn a lot of hats over the years be it as a Senior Producer, host, or editor and while I\'ve worked for big outlets like IGN, I\'ve also worked alongside many of the current greats who came from GoNintendo, Destructoid, and ScrewAttack. Currently I thrive in helping build up the next generation of content creators as a manager of our gameplay team at IGN empowering them to create pointed, but entertaining and informative media for all. I\'ve always believed in hard work and through my efforts teaching I get to see the team rewarded as they grow and thrive.To build a successful brand you need to be genuine and speak to your viewers honestly. With a creative and integrity focused approach I believe you can create excellence and elevate the industry as a whole. Of course my base skills teaching Premiere Pro, After Effects, Avid, Photoshop and Final Cut come into play depending on a new-hires skill level, but with that background I can provide foresight and help streamline projects with employees from any background. The goal? To engage, to inspire, and to generate views through compelling media.
