ABOUT DESTINEE S. WILSON

I am a JD-MBA graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law and the Darla Moore School of Business. Before attending law/graduate school, I received my B.A. in Political Science with a Communication Studies minor from Clemson University in 2016. Outside of the law, I started DSW Consulting Agency where I provide event coordination and event design services. I have expertise in project/case management, corporate governance, event coordination, and domestic litigation law. I have worked for a top-tier public university and numerous governmental and nonprofit agencies. My strengths include providing effective leadership and mentorship, completing difficult projects, creating innovative ideas, being agile, and engaging in public speaking in front of large cohorts of people. I am passionate about event planning, growth of nonprofit organizations, entrepreneurship, and civil rights advocacy for all-Effective communication-Strategic critical thinking-Resourceful project managing-Collaborative team leading-Practical conflict resolutionI started the Proverbs 4:7 Scholarship in 2017 to aid a scholar in their academic endeavors by paying tuition and/or purchasing books and other supplies. Additionally, because of my passion for the houseless population across the state of South Carolina, I started the Bundle of Love Project where I gather monetary and physical donations such as blankets and toiletries to distribute to care centers and on the street. Some of my hobbies include traveling to new places, going to brunch, reading, playing volleyball, swimming, and watching movies.
