ABOUT DESSERIE MORGAN

Professionally, I am an accountable, competent and decisive Registered Professional Nurse Executive with 20+ years intense Behavioral Health and 7+ years, Acute, Detox and Sub-Acute Med-Surg experience in bedside, nursing leadership and academic settings. I possess administrative leadership skills with a hands on, technologically savvy approach. I have a deep awareness of the financial aspect of care and have the experience and education to responsibly create and stabilize budgets and expenditures as they relate to the healthcare organization. I am committed to ​ensuring a high standard of patient -centered, trauma informed care by collaborating with healthcare professionals through a cohesive work environment, developing learning opportunities for my staff, maintaining their knowledge of changes in the medical /behavioral health field, and shaping policies related to patient care.​ I am a transformational, forward thinking servant leader who can and will be the change agent needed to ensure satisfaction for patients and staff alike.
