ABOUT DESRIEE A.

The founder of Little Omo, creating inclusive educational resources teaching all children about diversity through play, and as an educational consultant, I am committed to helping schools, nurseries, and other educational settings incorporate diverse resources that reflect the world’s rich cultural diversity. I work closely with educators to demonstrate how these inclusive materials can support an engaging, equitable, and impactful learning experience for all children.Little Omo was born from a desire to address the lack of representation in educational toys and materials for children of colour. Since launching in 2020, we have expanded our reach significantly, with our resources now featured in Selfridges, Disneyland California, over 30 museums across the UK, bringing our educational tools to a global audience. Our goal is to have our resources present in 30% of settings where children live, learn, and grow by 2030. We are passionate about creating high-quality, sustainable, and inclusive educational products that children of all backgrounds can relate to and learn from.Little Omo has been recognised by major publications including Forbes, BBC News, Elle UK, and The Independent. We are proud to be the first inclusive educational toy brand to have been stocked at Selfridges London.I am dedicated to supporting the next generation of learners by helping educators implement inclusive and culturally relevant resources in their classrooms. Let’s work together to build a future where every child feels seen, heard, and valued in their educational journey.
