ABOUT DESMOND FRIMPONG

I’m a rising senior at Colby College majoring in Computer Science with a strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software development. After excelling in my freshman-year Data Structures and Algorithms course, I served as a teaching assistant, reinforcing my knowledge and problem-solving skills. Through my coursework, from CS courses such as Operating Systems to advanced math courses such as Linear Algebra, I have gained a holistic foundation in Computer Science fundamentals. I’m confident that this foundation will enable me to quickly learn proprietary tools and contribute effectively to solving real-world challenges. Through internships and personal projects, I’ve gained hands-on experience building software products, primarily web applications. I’m familiar with software development best practices, including unit, functional, and integration testing, CI/CD pipelines, deployment (Heroku), and agile methodologies (Scrum).
