About Desi Wyatt

Desi Wyatt is a Director at Citi, where he leads strategic initiatives that accelerate the growth and performance of Citi Personal Wealth Management (CPWM). He oversees the firm’s advisor development and career-path programs, including the Financial Advisor Development Program and the Retail Banker to Wealth Relationship Manager Program, designed to strengthen the pipeline of future advisors and drive organic growth. In addition, he manages the deployment of Wealth personnel across Citi’s national retail footprint and provides oversight of business controls for the CPWM segment. With more than 25 years of financial services experience, Desi has held leadership roles spanning operations, field sales, and strategy—serving as a Six Sigma Black Belt, Financial Advisor, and Market Leader at leading wirehouse and bank broker-dealers.A West Point graduate and former Army aviator, Desi flew the CH-47D “Chinook” helicopter and served in various positions of leadership domestically and abroad, ultimately attaining the rank of Major during his military service.Desi earned his B.S. degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point and his MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University. In addition, he holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor℠ or CRPC® designation.Desi lives in Ellicott City, Maryland where he and his wife of 30 years raise their twin son and daughter. Active in the community, he is an usher at his local church and volunteers locally with Autism Speaks. He is also Secretary of the Board of Directors for the Association of African American Financial Advisors (Quad A).
