As the Payroll & Benefits Administrator at Cascade PBS, I collaborate closely with the HR team and report directly to the HR Director. I assume full responsibility for the end-to-end payroll processing, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and a proactive approach to issue resolution. Key aspects of my role include reviewing hourly timecards for union and non-union team members, conducting thorough audits to identify and address payroll discrepancies, and managing updates such as 401k contributions, bonuses, severances, reimbursements, pay changes, and retro earnings.An integral part of my responsibilities is to facilitate a streamlined payroll process, which involves training team members on timecard entry and providing training sessions for managers on timecard approvals. This ensures accuracy and efficiency in payroll transactions.In addition to my payroll duties, I manage our comprehensive benefits program at Cascade PBS. This involves conducting audits on provider invoices against payroll deductions, enrolling new members in various benefits, and orchestrating benefit orientations for new employees. A highlight of my contributions is the successful implementation of several new benefits, including an emergency savings account, long-term care insurance, dependent care FSA, and a commuter benefit account.Furthermore, I spearhead the annual wellness fair and manage the intricacies of the annual open enrollment process. My commitment to enhancing the team member experience is reflected in the continuous improvement and expansion of our benefits portfolio. Overall, my role extends beyond traditional payroll responsibilities, encompassing a holistic approach to employee well-being and satisfaction at Cascade PBS.
