As a Success Team Manager at Bottom Line, I lead and support a team of college success advisors who provide comprehensive, equity-driven advising to first-generation college students from under-resourced communities. I oversee the implementation of Bottom Line’s college persistence model, which is focused on ensuring students get into college, graduate, and go far.Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership & Coaching: Supervise, coach, and develop a team of advisors to meet student engagement and outcome goals across a caseload of 300+ students.Student Success Strategy: Ensure high-quality, student-centered advising focused on academic progress, financial aid, career readiness, and socioemotional well-being.Data-Informed Management: Monitor team performance through data dashboards and student tracking systems (e.g, Salesforce and Power BI) to inform coaching, interventions, and continuous improvement.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal teams including Programs, Access, Career Services, and Operations to align on strategy, coordinate student communications, and support key events.Training & Onboarding: Support the onboarding and professional development of new advisors.Project Management: Lead or support initiatives such as summer new cohort orientation, first year student experience event planning, and other projects aligned with organizational goals.Impact:Manage the advising experience for hundreds of first-generation college students across multiple partner institutions.Advance Bottom Line’s mission of supporting degree attainment and economic mobility for students from underserved backgrounds.Help build a culture of care, accountability, and student-centered innovation within the Success Team.
