When I joined Flix, UX was still new in my domain. There were no established design practices, no processes, and little awareness of what user-centricity meant for complex planning tools. I took on the challenge of founding the design function: setting up the team, creating rituals for prioritisation and reviews, and bringing stakeholders directly into the design process.Beyond designing the tools themselves, I worked on changing minds - helping developers, product owners, and business experts see problems through the user’s eyes. Over time, this built a culture where user-first thinking became the norm, not the exception.The tools I co-created now help network planners run one of the world’s largest intercity transport networks - analysing demand, monitoring competition, scheduling vehicles and drivers, and publishing routes with efficiency and confidence.Skills: Design Leadership · DesignOps · Service Design · Enterprise UX · Stakeholder Engagement
