ABOUT QIN HAN
Design research, UX design and Service Design, these are what I would put firmly at the centre of my professional and academic development in the past 10 years. I consider myself a design generalist with people at the heart of my work. I believe the best user experience can only be achieved if we understand people in their real-life context. I am keen to bring in a holistic view of people and their experience and to help my team/client understand the social and emotional aspects of designing any solution, digital or physical. I always enjoy a good challenge: a complex situation to explore, a difficult problem to define or a creative solution to design and to implement. This is what drives me and puts a smile on my face when explaining what I do to strangers.I am experienced in a range of activities in a project life cycle and beyond: from creating research methodologies and visual analysis techniques, planning creative workshops with multiple stakeholders, developing concepts right down to producing sketch and rapid prototypes in physical and digital forms. I am a team player and have worked with colleagues from all backgrounds. I am also confident in client engagement and happy to explore new business opportunities before, during and after projects.I have worked across a wide range of sectors: from healthcare, retail, automobile, telecom, financial services to consumer products. But I do have a few personal favourite that I keep close to my heart: healthcare and wellbeing, education and sustainability.
