ABOUT DUNCAN BROWN

As a senior design director I have spent over 25 years at the intersection of applied creativity and strategic foresight across a variety of industries for both early stage startups and global enterprises, always learning, always building. The challenges of the next decade cannot be solved with the design tools of the last decade.More recently at Hitachi Europe R&D and Capita Consulting Design Labs, I focused on solving systemic challenges in energy and social infrastructure through the creative application of generative AI and regenerative design.My approach is grounded in high-stakes reality. I have led contextual research across the UK, USA, and Africa, and I have successfully scaled an intrapreneurial venture from a single-person to a global digital service.I help Innovation leaders and aspirational founders to scale social infrastructure and green-growth initiatives by removing the ambiguity of \"what\'s next where?\" with creative systemic thinking to navigate the complexity of societal transitions with foresight.I deliver proven results in mission-critical environments, for example: reducing mortality by 20% in cardiac ICU through ethnography-led, human centred, digital transformation.I am currently interested in design strategist or fractional CDO opportunities where I can apply Regenerative Design and Anticipatory Innovation to help people and planet.Ready to explore alternative futures?
