I’m a lawyer licensed in India with an LL.M. in Fashion Law from Fordham University School of Law, where I focused on intellectual property, sustainability, business ethics, and international trade. My early work centered around supporting founders, designers, social enterprises, and a boutique law firm helping them navigate IP strategy, commercial contracts, brand protection, and compliance during critical early-stage growth.Today, I serve as Legal Manager at utu (“you-too”), a global tech company shaping the future of rewards, travel, and loyalty experiences. I advise on a wide range of commercial, marketing, service, and partnership agreements; manage compliance across multiple jurisdictions; guide B2B collaborations with retailers, including partners in fashion and beauty; and protect the company’s intellectual property as we expand into new markets. I also support employment law matters, data protection, regulatory questions, fundraising, and M&A initiatives, while working closely with external counsel worldwide.Outside work, I enjoy speaking and writing on topics like fashion ethics, indigenous knowledge, and responsible business practices. I’ve shared insights on platforms including Remake, The IP Press, and the University of Kashmir.
