Typical engagement is hands-on and highly tactical, assuming full responsibility of the day-to-day execution of Payroll & HR functions (as an Individual Contributor) while helping transition to the permanent team.\\\\n\\\\nRecent Engagements:\\\\n\\\\nSenior Global Payroll Consultant for pre-IPO SaaS company headquartered in the Triangle. During project, assumed ownership of the global payroll function, due to a gap in leadership during a high-growth phase for employees (hiring 40+ employees per month). Reporting to Director of Accounting, led the administration and execution of semi-monthly payroll for global FTEs in 6 countries including US, Canada, UK, Japan, and Australia. Managed backend payroll accounting & reconciliation. Activated new withholding and SUI accounts with 8 new states. Vendors included ADP WFN, Workday, Intacct, ADP TeamPay, JP Morgan & Comerica, FloQast, Google Suite, Microsoft365, Global Upside (JAP, AUS), and Zedra/Flow (UK).\\\\n\\\\nSenior People Operations Consultant for insurance technology company headquartered in the Triangle, reporting to the CHRO. Brought in due to abrupt departure of Director of HR Operations, assumed immediate responsibilities in onboarding/offboarding, payroll administration via Ceridian HCM, benefits enrollment for 100 FTEs, managed vendors for medical, dental, 401K, FSA & HSA. Delegated HR workstreams to a second Vaco People Operations Consultant to provide a blended, cost-effective project.\\\\n\\\\nSenior HR Consultant for insurance technology company headquartered in the Triangle, reporting to the Global Head of HR based in Italy. Brought in after the sudden departure of former HR Manager. Owned the HR function during the three-month gap to permanent HR leadership.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
