Provides individual, group and family therapy to children and adolescents victims of maltreatment, siblings, and child or adolescent witnesses to violence or trauma. Document all services, data, and outcomes according to program policy.Maintains appropriate interagency relationships to promote and enhance quality of service to abused children and their families. Identify and be able to access a broad range of community resources.Participates in multidisciplinary team meetings to provide input on cases of suspected abuse. Always maintains the confidentiality of clients, applicable to names, dates, places, and findings.Provides community education and awareness of the issues of child and adolescent assault and dissemination of program information and services. Provides pre-interview assessments with relevant family members and/or guardians and referral agencies (DSS, Law Enforcement etc.). Provides written interview summaries with comprehensive recommendations and conclusions and to complete these promptly as to be admissible in a court of lawAssists with case preparation and to provide expert testimony in criminal and/or family courts.
