   My leadership position with Burke & Herbert Bank allows me to use more than 20 years of experience in banking and law enforcement with a specialty in financial crimes investigation to continually develop and improve the fraud and crime prevention policies, training, and performance of the bank. I am honored to be leading in this role. Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Lead collaboratively across the bank to implement policies and procedures concerning the security of the bank’s customers, assets, and employees. Ensure compliance with the Bank Protection Act. Execute bank’s security program: oversee risk assessment, monitor program compliance, investigate and track incidents and breaches in compliance with federal and state laws. Prepare and deliver Annual Security Report to the Board of Directors. Train and develop bank’s management team. Plan for, install, and maintain all security equipment and other assets. All other tasks and priorities related to improving the bank’s risk profile related to fraud, state and federal compliance, and physical security. Burke & Herbert Bank is Virginia’s oldest bank. It was founded in 1852 and now operates 25 branches throughout the commonwealth.
