ABOUT DERRICK BEACH

I was born and raised in rural New Brunswick in a family of 6. Immediately after graduating from High School, I made the difficult and very emotional (I was only 17 years old) decision to venture out on my own and travel across the country to put down roots in the beautiful province of Alberta. I have called Edmonton home since and have completely fallen in love with this city. I have an education degree from the University of Alberta and taught elementary education in both Leduc and Edmonton. I have also been very involved in coaching basketball at both the community and school levels. I now have my own family of 6 and love every moment of raising a family here in Edmonton!I have been in real estate since 2013, when I made the decision to transition from teaching, to working in the new homes sales and construction industry for the following 8 years. That was an amazing opportunity to learn about the many details that go into new construction, and all of the little pieces that need to come together to provide clients with a positive experience when building their home.It was that experience in new home sales that ultimately encouraged me to pursue a career as a REALTOR® in the city of Edmonton and surrounding areas. I feel that, as a REALTOR®, I am able to take my love for helping people, along with my passion for real estate one step further.
