ABOUT DERREN BURRELL

I am the founder and managing partner of Veteran Ventures Capital, a fund that fuses resources, mentoring, and years of fiscal and operational experience to strategically assist businesses with veterans in leadership.As a veteran myself, with a master\'s degree in cost analysis from the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology and two other master\'s degrees in human resources and global security / national policy, I have developed analytical, organizational, and strategic leadership skills that enable me to identify, evaluate, and support promising ventures in various sectors and markets. I am also a Certified Defense Financial Manager, a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, a recipient of the prestigious Presidential Service Badge, and an inductee into Marquis Who\'s Who in America. Additionally, I am a scholar of the Stand-To Veteran Leadership Program at the George W. Bush Presidential Center, where I learn from and network with other veteran leaders who are making a positive impact in their communities and industries. My mission is to develop the next generation of disruptive and innovative veteran entrepreneurs who can create jobs, economic growth, investor returns, and social good.
