ABOUT DERMOT FANNING

31 years experience in Infrastructure consultancy and Systems management. Most recently over the last 8.5 years working in Microsoft Azure space on migration projects with customers who want to either migrate systems to the cloud or develope hybrid cloud solutions. This has been specifically around Azure Cloud Networking (SDN) and all related components, IAAS, Cloud modernisation based on the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework /Well Architected Framework, and Enterprise Scale concepts using Bicep, ARM & ASM and some Terraform. Most recently I have had increasing exposure to projects designing Agentic AI architectures and related networking for AI adoption related projects.Previous to that I worked on projects using BCDR (ASR/MABS/StorSimple), System Center Data Protection Manager Previous to that on Office 365 migration projects, SharePoint 2010/2013 and BizTalk 2009/2010/2013 for a variety of clientsAlso with several years experience working with the Microsoft System Center suite of products and it\'s predecessors. Involved in the design and deployment of said systems including both greenfield and migration projects in an international environment.
