As a Patient Access Manager at R1 RCM, I lead a team of patient service representatives and supervisors who provide quality and compassionate care to patients at Layton Hospital. I am responsible for overseeing the daily operations and performance of the patient access department, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, and resolving any issues or concerns that arise. I have over five years of experience in the health care industry, starting as a Patient Service Representative and advancing to a Patient Access Supervisor and Manager. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration from Weber State University and a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential. I am also a candidate of the Masters of Health Administration program at the same university, which is certified by the AUPHA. My goal is to improve the wellness and dignity of clients by applying my knowledge, skills, and values in the field of health administration.
